Each year, Twin Cities Business tells the stories of successful small businesses in Minnesota.
This year, the 10 featured businesses—each of which has 500 employees or fewer—span many industries. The companies range from Minneapolis-based tortilla maker Tortilleria La Perla, LLC, to Burnsville-based Pawn America, and St. Paul’s McNally Smith College of Music to Minneapolis law firm Nilan Johnson Lewis.
Other featured companies include White Bear Lake-based Cortec Corporation, Minnetonka-based CTS, St. Paul Park-based Garelick Mfg. Co., Minnetonka-based Horizontal Integration, St. Cloud-based PAM’s Auto, Inc., and St. Paul-based Terrybear, Inc. and River of Goods, Inc.
The stories offer useful insights to other small-business leaders—but they also offer something that every businessperson needs, at least from time to time: inspiration.
